Galaxy S21 Ultra, the top of the range from Samsung has been, since its launch, appreciated for its photo-video performance. It is equipped with the most capable and versatile capture and filming package on a mobile phone, at the moment, at least in the “universe” of Android.
Samsung Electronics recently announced that it will work with film directors to fully record Galaxy S21 Ultra movies. The company is partnering with British director Joe Wright, known for his work on Pride and Prejudice and Atonement.

The campaign will begin with Princess & Peppernose, directed by Joe Wright. This music film uses both live-action choreography and a puppet.
“We chose to embrace the wider lens, something we had never done before. [… a kind of ghostly, hallucinatory quality and took us back in time filming with a Super8. ” mentioned a Princess & Peppernose film crew specialist.
Another movie that will be recorded with Galaxy S21 Ultra is created by Chinese director Sha Mo, known for Love Will Tear Us Apart and My Huckleberry Friends. “Sha Mo used Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G to capture images for his new movie Kids of Paradise, a poetic look at the conflicts between children in a small school in the country. To capture the story, Sha Mo relied on Mode’s Director from the Galaxy S21 Ultra to record three different photos simultaneously, for an intuitive, almost professional shooting experience. ”
Samsung plans to expand its partnership with more filmmakers around the world to continue to showcase the flagship cameras of Samsung smartphones.
Both films will be screened at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea this month.
