Samsung is finally solving the most annoying problem on its top phones

Samsung applications, pre-installed on the company’s smartphones, will not annoy their users, as before. One of the most annoying practices is that pre-installed software offers ads on mobile phones. This behavior is very annoying for users.

Following many complaints from users, the company decided to make a change. As promised, in August, they began to remove from the ads. Samsung smartphone users have repeatedly demanded that they no longer be harassed by advertisements on their phones.

Samsung had decided to sell ads at a time when the company ‘s smartphones did n’t seem to be doing very well. Now, the company has managed to find new sources of revenue, including deals with US giants Google and Microsoft. Therefore, Samsung has decided to make it to the users who buy their smartphones, including over 1,000 euros. Therefore, the manufacturing company will discontinue the ads.

Where can we find more ads provided by Samsung?

In 2020, Samsung started displaying banner ads in its applications. Advertisements started appearing after updates to One UI 2.5. From now on, they will disappear from most pre-installed applications on company phones. We will not find them on Samsung Weather or Samsung Health. Instead, Samsung Pay will still have an offer section.

The South Korean manufacturer has decided to drop these ads by the end of 2021. Most likely, the upgrade to One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 will lead to the complete disappearance of this type of monetization, strongly contested by users.

Now, smartphone users can consider themselves lucky, after getting rid of at least some ads that always assaulted them. Unfortunately, the smart TV owners of the technology manufacturer are not so lucky. They will still have to accept various banners through the software interface. Maybe in time the company will think about them and find other sources of income.
